Dan Geraghty was born in Cleveland, Ohio but moved to South Florida when he was a child. In 2004 he graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Thereafter, he moved to Fort Lauderdale and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2007 at Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law.
After obtaining his law degree, Dan returned to Central Florida and worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Seminole County. He spent over thirteen years in the 18th Judicial Circuit’s Public Defender’s Office advocating for the constitutional rights of the indigent, underprivileged, and mentally ill. As an Assistant Public Defender, Dan handled hundreds of complex criminal cases and gained substantial trial experience and a deep understanding of how to advocate for justice for those individuals in our society who are most vulnerable and in need.
In 2021, Dan was admitted to the Colorado Bar and moved with his wife and children to Colorado Springs where he joined Telios Law. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his family hiking and exploring the outdoors.
