Types of Counsel
A lawsuit is handled by litigation counsel or a litigation team, usually as outside counsel. A religious organization may need an attorney who practices in the religious law or constitutional law area. Roles can vary, as one attorney may manage the case but may need a consulting attorney who specializes in areas such as international law or constitutional law.
